“… it’s a place where you go to connect with yourself, with your body, as well as connect with likeminded people, to meet new people, or to meet somebody you already know. A place where you go to leave everything behind for a few days, to re-charge, re-energize, and to re-set, to come back to your everyday life, work, family with full bag of energy, with full battery again.”

The Stay:
Quinta Camarena

A rural countryside retreat in the middle of nature, surrounded by 4 hectares of private pine forest, yet just 15 min walk away from a lively and historical Portuguese town.

Vera & Cam - the owners of this retreat centre are running all sorts of sustainable initiatives to keep their home part of the ecosystem, positively impacting the surrounding nature.

They use solar panels for electricity and hot water, do not use single use plastic, work towards increasing biodiversity and eating local to support the local community and reduce their carbon footprint.

Onsite - a real heaven for movement addicts. Sauna and training ground in the middle of forest, running circuits, hiking trails, pool, gym, as well as bikes to rent to explore the region and even reach the beach.

Your Host

Our instructors are coming from diverse backgrounds all united with a belief that our mind rests while our body moves. Tremendous amount of evidence confirms that we do need to move our bodies to reduce the level of anxiety and chronic stress we capture in our minds.

To make the Movement Camp a playground for diverse movement addicts we always have 3-5 instructors onsite teaching different approaches to movement.

The food is local, organic, fresh and seasonal prepared onsite. The meals are mostly vegetarian, always nutritious and healthy.

06

What's not included?

Your flights, and transfer from airport Visa fees and travel insurance is also your responsibility.

03

Where is the nearest airport?

Two nearby airports:

Faro & Lisbon - makes it super easy to find an inexpensive connection.

We will help to match all of you for car sharing when the time comes.

04

What's the level of the classes?

The level of the classes is open. All our instructors are experienced and we will always find progressions or regressions to make it challenging enough for each participant.

We do however recommend joining if you are enthusiastic about training 3-4 days a week in your daily life, or wish to build such a routine with the help of the Movement Camps.

The Movement Camps are always mixed gender - everyone is welcome to join. We do keep the shared rooms same gender only though.

07

Any extra activities?

In your free time you will be able to explore the nearby town which is just 12 min walk away, book a massage, a horse riding tour, rent a bike, go for a run or a hike, book a photoshoot, or a private session with an instructor.

08

How do I reserve?

To confirm your reservation you will need to pay 450 EUR deposit (or 900 EUR for a package for 2). The remaining amount can be settled before the camp, no later than 21 days before the start date.
